🌿 The Hidden Hero in Your Body: WHAT THEY’RE NOT TELLING YOU!Ladies, let’s be real… 💪✨
Ladies we’re bombarded with health advice every day: “Take more vitamins,” “Eat clean,” “Cut carbs.” But no one ever handed us a “body manual” growing up, right?
So let me ask you…
👉 Why do we feel brain fog even after taking vitamins?
👉 Why are we still bloated even when we eat “healthy”?
👉 Why does our energy crash no matter how much coffee we drink?
Here’s the truth: your body runs on a powerful system of minerals, proteins, and energy flow. And when you understand it—girl, you unlock a whole new level of health ✨.
✨ NOTE: I WILL BE UPDATING THIS ARTICLE AS I LEARN PLEASE CHECK BACK WEEKLY – “After years of research and healing, I’m here to empower women to finally understand how their bodies work. Every woman deserves to know this — and to step into health with clarity and confidence.” 🙌
Buckle up! This is a lot of info! Grab a coffee and get comfy! Let’s break it down simply (no PhD required 😉):
This information is for educational purposes only and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
⚡️ Your Body’s Foundation: Minerals
Think of minerals as the spark plugs of your body:
- Magnesium 🧘♀️ – keeps everything flowing, calms nerves, powers hundreds of enzymes.
- Potassium 🍌 – balances fluids, keeps energy moving, supports muscles.
- Sodium 🧂 – not the enemy! It helps with nerve signals and adrenal support.
- Calcium 🦴 – not just for bones, but also for communication between your cells.
👉 When these four are balanced, your body has the foundation to fight adrenal fatigue and bring back real energy. Let’s get deeper into what’s causing all that chaos in your body?!

🔋 ATP: Your Energy Currency
Every move, every breath, every thought is powered by ATP—tiny packets of energy made in your mitochondria (your cells’ little power plants).
But here’s the kicker: ATP needs protection to keep your body healthy and to stop toxins from building up.. And that’s where the hidden hero comes in…
🩸 Meet Ceruloplasmin (aka Cero 💙)
THE PROTECTOR OF ATP! Every single cell in your body is built from proteins, fats, and carbs—each one plays a different role in your energy:
- Carbs = quick bursts of fuel ⚡️
- Fats = steady, long-lasting energy 🔥
- Proteins = structure + strength 🧱 (they last the longest and keep the cell stable)
Think of it like a house:
- Carbs are the electricity ⚡️
- Fats are the insulation that keeps things steady 🏡
- Proteins are the strong walls and frame that hold it all together 🪨
👉 And here’s why this matters: ceruloplasmin is a protein.
That means it’s part of the strong, lasting structure your body relies on to stay healthy.
Ceruloplasmin is made in your liver and acts like your body’s “traffic controller”:
- Activates enzymes that build collagen (hello skin & joints ✨)
- Keeps iron in check so it doesn’t rust your tissues
- Protects ATP so your energy doesn’t burn out
When Cero is strong → energy flows, enzymes switch on, toxins move out, your mind is clear, and your body feels supported.
When Cero is weak → toxins pile up, bile gets sluggish, iron misbehaves, and everything jams up → Hello brain fog 😵, hormonal imbalance, stiff neck and shoulders, calcium buildup in joints, shaky legs, crushing fatigue, bloating, migraines, heavy periods, PMS and the list goes on…
🔄 Quick Recap: How Ceruloplasmin Works
- Built in your liver
- Formed from minerals (magnesium, potassium, sodium, calcium)
- Moved by copper
- Activated by vitamin A
When this process is working → ✨ enzymes switch on, toxins move out, energy flows.
When it’s not → things back up.
🛡 Your Body’s Defense System: Free Radicals vs Antioxidants
Free radicals = unstable little troublemakers 👿 that steal from healthy cells.
- They’re created by toxins, stress, processed food, pollution, and even too much iron. ( YES even if you eat healthy )
- When they steal from healthy cells, damage happens. This is called oxidative stress (aka “rust” inside your body).
👉 Imagine leaving a piece of metal outside in the rain. It starts to rust. That’s basically what free radicals do to your cells if they’re not kept in check.
Antioxidants = the good guys 🦸♀️ that hand over a healthy spark to calm them down.
And here’s the key🔑:
ceruloplasmin itself is part of your antioxidant defense.
Restore Cero, and your body naturally handles free radicals.
WHAT STUDIES SHOW :
In Japanese patients with type 2 diabetes, researchers found that lower ceruloplasmin levels were linked to higher oxidative stress, showing Ceruloplamin’s role as a natural antioxidant in the body.
A 2013 study by Inoue et al. found that low ceruloplasmin levels were strongly associated with markers of oxidative stress, suggesting ceruloplasmin isn’t just a copper transport protein but also a key antioxidant.
Alzheimer’s & Ceruloplasmin – study found more oxidative stress + faster cognitive decline.
Diabetes and Ceruloplasmin– Research suggests ceruloplasmin helps protect insulin-producing beta cells from oxidative stress, linking it to healthier blood sugar regulation — though studies are still developing.
🩸 The Truth About Fatigue & Iron
Almost no one explains this:
- About 90% of your iron is recycled.
- With healthy Cero, that recycling runs smoothly.
- Without Cero, iron floats around “stuck” and becomes non-functional.
That’s why so many women are told:
“Your iron is low, just take more iron pills.”
But here’s the truth: extra iron without Cero only adds fuel to the fire.
⚠️ Free-floating iron doesn’t nourish you—it literally “rusts” your cells, causing oxidative stress. That’s why you can feel tired, foggy, or inflamed—even with “normal” iron labs.
👉 Iron is supposed to carry oxygen in your blood, but without ceruloplasmin, it’s like carrying bad oxygen that doesn’t feed your tissues.
WHAT STUDIES SHOW :
(Roeser, Lee, Nacht, Cartwright, 1970) → This study shows when ceruloplasminlevels drop (in copper-depleted pigs), iron can’t move from cells into the bloodstream properly, causing low blood iron even though iron stores are fine. When ceruloplasmin is restored, iron flow improves –
PNAS, 1999, Harris et al – Study in mice shows without Cp → mice accumulated iron in the liver, pancreas, and brain.
The Big FATIGUE Player: Vitamin D and Your Mitochondria
When people think fatigue, they usually think low iron — but vitamin D is a big player too. Your mitochondria (the tiny engines in every cell that make energy) can’t run well without it.
Low vitamin D leaves those engines sputtering, which shows up as brain fog, heavy muscles, and that constant tired feeling you just can’t shake. Getting enough vitamin D — helps your body actually turn fuel into energy. Don’t overload more isn’t always better! Pair it with magnesium and vitamin K2, and you’ve got a foundation that keeps your system firing on all cylinders. (READ BELOW – DANGERS OF VIT D)
⚠️ Why Vitamins Alone Can Backfire
It’s not just iron. Other vitamins can also work against you if the foundation isn’t set:
- 🌱 Vitamin D → is great for immunity and energy, but it “pulls” calcium out to use. It works best when paired with vitamin K2 (which tells calcium to go into bones) and magnesium (which keeps it flexible). If ceruloplasmin is low, calcium can still end up in the wrong places.
- Vitamin A → by itself isn’t “poison,” but without copper it’s like stockpiling gas without an engine to burn it— eventually it can overflow and cause problems.
That’s why so many women say:
“I take vitamins, but they don’t seem to work. I’m always bloated. I’m not absorbing nutrients. My neck always feels stiff.”
💡 Truth: it’s not the vitamins—it’s the missing foundation.
Taking SOME vitamins without enough ceruloplasmin is like loading a delivery truck with groceries but giving the driver a broken GPS. 🚚🛒 The food still gets picked up, but it never reaches the right kitchen — some spoils, some gets lost, and you don’t get the meal you were counting on.
🧽 Bile + Ceruloplasmin: Is Your Body’s Trash-Taker STUCK?
Your liver makes bile—a greenish fluid that:
✨ Digests fats
✨ Carries out waste
✨ Flushes toxins
⚠️ Here’s the biggie: toxins like pesticides 🧪, heavy metals ⚙️, and mold 🌫 are fat-soluble—meaning bile is the main way out.
HERE’S A STUDY SHOWING – bile is the body’s main route for eliminating waste products such as bilirubin, excess cholesterol, bile acids, and many drugs, toxins, and heavy metals — substances that the kidneys cannot excrete efficiently
👉 But when minerals are depleted and Cero is low, bile gets thick and sluggish.
Think of it like this:
- Bile shows up to the liver like: “Alright team, we’re ready to load up these toxins and ship ’em out as poop!” 🚛💨
- But here’s the catch: if ceruloplasmin (your copper-based antioxidant protein) is running low, the “traffic control system” isn’t working. 🚦 Without it, bile gets thicker and slower, and instead of rolling toxins out of the body, some of that load keeps looping back through the liver.
- Over time, this recycling puts more stress on the liver and leaves you feeling heavy, foggy, and run-down — even though your body is trying to detox.
The Result?
😵 Brain fog
💨 Bloating under the ribs
🥱 Constant fatigue
💭 That “heavy” feeling you just can’t shake
✅ When minerals are balanced + ceruloplasmin is strong, bile flows smoothly → toxins exit the body the way nature intended. ✨🚀
THE SECRET TO HEALING ADRENAL FATIGUE 🙏 GET OUT OF FLIGHT OR FIGHT!
🧂 Your Body Is Like a Battery
Our bodies are like salty, juicy batteries. ⚡️ Without enough electrolytes—sodium, potassium, magnesium—the battery dries out and our adrenals get stuck under stress.
One of the biggest keys to restoring my adrenals was what I call my super mama juice, and magnesium :
💧 Sipping my sodium + potassium drink throughout the day → helped calm my adrenals and slowly restore the flow of energy. Our bodies are powered by tiny electrical signals, and electrolytes (like sodium and potassium) are what keep that current flowing.
✨ “By flow, I also mean digestion — I used to be the queen of constipation. Once things finally started moving regularly, I could feel the oxidative stress lifting. But this was just the beginning of the healing journey.”
STUDIES SHOW :
In a 2023 Study researchers found that nutritional antioxidants can help reduce oxidative stress linked to adrenal hormone dysfunction
Training Your Body to Feel Safe 🙏
For me, prayer became a lifeline. 🙏 And here’s the amazing part: prayer isn’t just “spiritual,” it also taps into how God designed our brains. Neuroscience shows imagination is powerful.
Let’s try something together:
👉 Imagine this with me: you’re holding a lemon. 🍋 You grab a cutting board and set it on the table. You pick up a sharp knife, put the the lemon on your board, and carefully start to slice—whoa, almost nicked your finger there…
Now the lemon splits open, juice glistening. You lift one half, bring it up to your mouth, and squeeze… the tart juice hits your tongue.
Did your mouth water just reading that? 😅 That’s because your brain can’t tell the difference between what’s really happening and what you’re imagining.
Wild, right?
So when you pray and imagine God holding you safely in His hands, your brain tells your body: “You’re safe.” Your nervous system calms, your adrenals relax, and instead of fighting panic, your body can finally shift into healing mode.
🌿 Simple Habits That Changed Everything
🌙 Practicing belly breathing before sleep
Your vagus nerve (the main “calm” nerve in your body) sits low in your belly. When you practice slow belly breaths, you’re literally pressing the “rest + heal” button on your nervous system. I didn’t realize how big breath was until I learned this—now it’s a nightly habit that helps my body settle before sleep.
🛌 Going to bed earlier so my body could truly recharge
🙌 Taking 5 minutes to pray or read Scripture whenever my chest felt tight
☀️ Getting at least 20 minutes of sunlight every day
These sound so basic, but they’re life-changing. They retrain your body to step out of survival mode and back into the state God designed for you—peace, rest, and healing. 🌿✨
But this is all just the the tip of the iceberg..
🌿 My Real-Life Story (I’m No Doctor!)
I’m no doctor—just a mama like you who used to struggle every single day with:
😵💫 Crushing migraines
🌫 Brain fog so severe it felt like I’d been hit by a truck
🤰 Hormonal chaos + heavy periods (with 2-week “recoveries” that only got worse—I literally feared the next cycle 😔 )
💨 Bloating that never seemed to go away
💤 Such low energy I couldn’t function without coffee
🪨 Stiff neck + shoulders that never loosened up
🥱 Fatigue so heavy my legs would shake just trying to get through the day
THE END RESULT! 80% bed ridden! 20% barely functioning saving energy for the important things i didn’t want to miss out on. I wasn’t just tired—I was barely functioning.
I went from doctor to doctor searching for answers. Even the functional doctors told me the same thing: “It takes time… just wait.” But months into their protocols, I was feeling worse.
I had brain scans showing calcification on my pineal gland and inflammation in my brain. Bloodwork came back with “borderline this” and “low that”—low iron, low vitamin D, a low-grade infection.
And the most important part? ZERO answers.
Nothing was ever “bad enough” for anyone to help. Deep down, I knew something was wrong, but I was made to feel like I was imagining it.
And on top of that… we were living in an old house with potential mold. 🌫 No visible mold, just that hidden “old-house” mold that seeps into everything.
At some point, I realized: no one was coming to save me.
THE PRAYER THAT CHANGED IT ALL!
So I prayed a very specific prayer. 🙏
“God, whatever I’m going through, please help me figure it out so I can help women like me. I can’t be the only one struggling like this.”
And God provided—step by step. It was a hard year of layer after layer unfolding!
I spent thousands of dollars on vitamins, testing combo after combo with no clear results in the first 9 months. But through it all, God kept teaching me.
✨ First, I learned about minerals. Just restoring the basics helped me finally have normal bowel movements. But the fatigue, bloating, and severe brain fog were still there.
✨ Then I learned about ceruloplasmin—and how vitamin D drives the mitochondria slowing getting out of extreme fatigue. That was a game-changer. Suddenly, I could walk around, do house chores, and even make dinner all in the same day.
This journey has changed everything for me. I’m thankful to God for this trial, because without it, I wouldn’t be sharing this with you. 🙌
What I’ve learned is that it all goes back to the basics: restoring our bodies to what God designed them to be. We were made to heal. We were made to thrive. 🌿✨
🔑 OVERVIEW – What I Learned – 🔑 What Helped Me
Ceruloplasmin
Healthy Ceruloplasmin needs copper + vitamin A, and works best if protected by vitamins C and E. Think of it as your body’s traffic controller for minerals and oxidative stress. Without all of these key nutrients, it can’t function properly
💨 BILE FLOW
Bile is your body’s trash-taker — it helps digest fats and carries toxins out. The key is to keep bile moving so waste doesn’t get stuck and recycle back into your system.
- Bitters (and helpers like taurine or TUDCA) → thin bile and help the liver + gallbladder release it.
- For some women, thyroid health also plays a role — sluggish thyroid function can slow bile, while supporting the thyroid can gently improve flow.
⚠️🥩 Nourish with Real Food🥩⚠️ (Vitamin A + Copper Together)
Supplements are tools, but nothing beats real food. Raw or lightly cooked beef liver is one of the richest natural sources of retinol (vitamin A) and bioavailable copper — the exact combo your body needs to build ceruloplasmin.
Even just a few bites of fresh liver a couple of times per week can take the pressure off high-dose pills and give your body the raw materials it recognizes best.
If raw liver feels intimidating, you can start by freezing tiny slivers and swallowing them like capsules, or try gently searing small cubes in a pan. That’s what I’ve been doing .
(👉 DID YOU KNOW THAT BEEF LIVER is one of the richest natural sources of vitamin A, copper, and iron — even ranking at the very top in a 2024 nutrient analysis published in the National Library of Medicine? – .)
🧯 Protect While You Build (C + E + Milk Thistle)
When you push ceruloplasmin, you’re also stirring toxins and moving metals. That’s why protection matters just as much as the building blocks.
- Whole-food Vitamin C (acerola, camu camu, amla) → keeps copper in the right form without draining it.
- Vitamin E → acts like a fire extinguisher, calming oxidative stress.
- Milk thistle → supports your liver cells on “push” days when detox feels heavier.
Here’s the key: you don’t have to take them every day. Many women do better with 4–5 days on, 2–3 days off — letting the liver rest and reset.
👉 Builders like beef liver + copper are best done in pulses (not every day) — so your body has time to use what it’s given.
👉 Protectors like Vitamin C + E are usually safe daily, but some women find they feel best taking breaks (a couple of days off each week).
🔄 Flow & Recovery (Rest Days Matter)
This was a big shift for me: healing doesn’t mean taking more every day. It means creating a rhythm.
- On “push days,” when I support ceruloplasmin with liver or supplements, I pair it with antioxidants and milk thistle.
- On “rest days,” I pull back — more water, minerals, gentle binders, light movement.
This ebb and flow keeps the process gentler, prevents “stacking” too many vitamins, and helps avoid that free-copper headache spiral.
⚠️ Why I Changed My Approach
When I first laid out my protocol, I thought more was better. But the truth? My liver enzymes spiked. My body was telling me it was too much, too fast. That’s when I realized: building ceruloplasmin isn’t a sprint.
Now, I use food first (like raw liver), antioxidants as a shield, and I respect rest days. My body responds so much better, and I’m not forcing my liver with piles of capsules.
🌟 FINAL WORD
This wasn’t a “take one pill and fix everything” journey. It was about:
➡️ Building the foundation with minerals
➡️ Restoring ceruloplasmin
➡️ Supporting detox gently
And slowly but surely, the migraines, the bloating, the brain fog, the heavy periods… all started shifting. By month two I had zero period cramps!
Ladies no advil! This was the first time in months!
I learned your body isn’t broken. It just needs the right spark, the right flow, and the right support to do what it was designed to do. 💖✨

🛒 Products I Personally Used
I know it helps to see what someone else actually tried, so here’s a list of the supplements and supports I used on my journey.
⚠️ Reminder: This isn’t a prescription or a “must-buy” list. It’s just what I personally experimented with. Please do your own research and talk with your doctor before trying anything new.
Milk thistle (for gentle liver support)👉 It’s one of the few herbs shown to actually protect and help restore liver cells. That’s why it’s been trusted for centuries as a go-to for liver health.
Potassium powder (I only used 1/8 tsp — a little goes a long way!)
👉 Be cautious here: potassium is super powerful, and too much can affect your heart rhythm. Always start tiny and never overdo it. Think of it like seasoning — just a sprinkle can make a difference. I always sip never chug!
Mineral Drops – Added this additionally to my water bottle to slowly replenish the rest of the minerals too.
Unrefined sea salt (mixed this with potassium 1/8 tsp + 1/8 tsp of the salt in my water. Always mixed salt and potassium together. they are both important. )
Magnesium (360- 500 mg) ( keep that calcium under control )
Vitamin B Complex (methylated — includes B6 to help magnesium work)
Choline + Taurine (to support bile flow + liver health)
Whole food Vitamin C drops ( or whole food c powder ) (antioxidants – I took this to protect against those tiny “fires” (oxidative stress) while rebuilding Cero, and to support collagen. 👉 Why whole food? Because most vitamin C on the market is just ascorbic acid. Over time, ascorbic acid alone can drain copper from your body. And remember—copper is what drives Cero! Whole-food Vitamin C (from acerola, amla, camu camu, etc.) comes packaged the way nature intended—with bioflavonoids and cofactors that actually work with copper, not against it.
Vitamin E (antioxidant- This is like a fire extinguisher 🧯 for your cells—protecting them from “rust,” preserving copper enzymes like ceruloplasmin, teaming up with vitamin C to calm oxidative stress, and even helping balance hormones for smoother cycles. )
Glycine (at night with food for steady energy + protein building)
Bitters spray (before meals to help bile flow, keep those toxins moving out as I rebuild cero)
Binders ( BEDTIME away from food – rotated between chlorella, charcoal, and Pectasol — my favorite for mold support)
✨ I wrote this article to empower women with knowledge about how our bodies really work—how vitamins interact, how minerals drive energy, and how ceruloplasmin ties it all together.
But here’s the thing: I’m still learning. Please do your own research to figure out what antioxidant support you need, and which vitamins can safely be taken together. When I built my own stack, I carefully studied how each one worked with the others—and that’s just as important as the supplements themselves.
💬 I’d love to hear from you—what’s been the most life-changing thing you’ve learned about your body recently? Share it in the comments below! We’re all learning together, and I can’t wait to hear your stories. 💖
